Inspired
by the profound teachings of St. Francis of
Assisi, the venerable founder of the
Capuchin Order, our esteemed institution has
been steadfast in its commitment to the
values of Universal Brotherhood and peace.
Strategically situated in the heart of
Gangondanahalli, near Chandra Layout, our
school boasts a rich and storied history
that dates back to the year 1978. What began
as a humble endeavor with St. Anthony's
Kannada Nursery, comprising a mere 12
students in a modest structure, has evolved
exponentially over the years. Today, we
proudly cater to a thriving community of
over 1,600 students, offering comprehensive
education in both English and Kannada
medium.
Throughout our journey, several notable
milestones have marked our progress. The
introduction of the English Medium Nursery
in 1994, in response to the fervent requests
of parents, signified a pivotal moment in
our institution's history. Furthermore, the
celebration of our Silver Jubilee in 2003
was commemorated with the construction of a
state-of-the-art new block, featuring 8
spacious classrooms and 5 office rooms,
thereby enhancing our infrastructural
capabilities.
Our school's infrastructure is meticulously
designed to foster an optimal learning
environment. We boast spacious classrooms,
staffed by experienced and trained educators
who are dedicated to nurturing the
intellectual and emotional growth of our
students. Additional amenities include
separate toilet facilities for boys and
girls, clean and filtered drinking water, a
cordial office staff, and a lush green
campus that provides a serene backdrop for
academic pursuits. Moreover, our institution
features a playground, smart classes, a
well-equipped computer lab, a science lab, a
comprehensive library, and a fleet of school
buses, all of which contribute to providing
a well-rounded education that prepares our
students for the challenges of the
modern world.
The management of our institution is
entrusted to the Capuchin Fathers of the
Holy Trinity Province, Karnataka, who bring
a wealth of experience and expertise to the
table. The Kannada medium school operates
under the aegis of the Archdiocesan Board of
Education, while the English medium school
is registered under the Capuchin Friars
Service Society (R) As we commemorate 46
years of dedicated service to education, we
take immense pride in having served thousand
of students in and around Gangondanahalli,
empowering them to become responsible
citizens and compassionate human beings.

St.
Francis of Assisi, the founder of the
Capuchin Order, born in Italy in the year
1181, dedicated his whole life living and
propagating Universal Brotherhood. We, the
followers of St. Francis, live and work for
the same brotherhood and have taken our goal
and aim to become instruments of Peace.
Hence the motto of our school is "Education
for Peace, Progress & Prosperity". Our
school situated at Gangondanahalli near
Chandra Layout was started in the year 1978
in a simple dwelling as Kannada Nursery and
now it has developed into a full-fledged
High School.
In the year 1994, we began English Medium
Nursery at the strong request of the parents
in and around the school. At present we have
classes from 1 to X in both Kannada and
English Medium. The total strength of the
school is 1200 in English Medium and about
800 students in the Kannada Medium, making a
total of 2,000 students. Six years ago the
school celebrated silver jubilee of its
selfless service to humanity in and around
Gangondanahalli. To make this occasion the
school built a new block with 8 classrooms
and 5 office rooms.
