Empowering Young Voices for
Positive Change - St Anthony's Church
School
An empowering and
thought-provoking session titled Empowering
Young Voices for Positive Change was
conducted for the high school students of
St. Anthony Church School on 15th July 2026
in the school auditorium. The session was
conducted by Mr. Vinay, who engaged the
students in an informative and meaningful
discussion on the importance of making
responsible choices and leading a healthy,
disciplined, and purposeful life.
The session primarily focused on creating
awareness among students about the harmful
effects of alcohol and substance addiction.
Mr. Vinay explained how alcohol consumption
can adversely affect an individual's
physical health, mental well-being, academic
performance, relationships, and future
prospects. He encouraged the students to
understand the dangers of addictive
substances and to develop the confidence to
stay away from negative influences and
unhealthy habits.
The resource person emphasized that young
people have the power to make positive
choices and become responsible members of
society. He encouraged the students to
cultivate self-discipline, strong values,
positive habits, and a healthy lifestyle.
The importance of choosing good friends,
resisting peer pressure, managing emotions
effectively, and seeking guidance whenever
necessary was also highlighted.
The session motivated the students to remain
addiction-free, focus on their education and
personal growth, and make choices that
contribute to a successful and meaningful
future. The interactive nature of the
session enabled the students to reflect on
their own choices and understand their
responsibility towards themselves, their
families, and society.
The programme served as a valuable platform
for awareness, empowerment, and character
building. It inspired the students to use
their voices and decisions positively and to
become confident young individuals who can
contribute towards creating a healthier and
better society.
