Free Eye Check-up Camp  - St Anthony's Church School

A Free Eye Check-up Camp was organized for the students of St. Anthony Church School on 6th and 7th July 2026in collaboration with Dr. Agarwal's Eye Hospital. The programme was organized with the objective of promoting good eye health among students and ensuring the early identification of any vision-related problems that could affect their learning and overall well-being.

During the two-day camp, a team of qualified doctors and medical professionals from Dr. Agarwal's Eye Hospital conducted eye examinations for the students. The students underwent basic vision screening and other necessary eye assessments. The medical team carefully examined the students and identified those who might require further consultation or attention. The students were also given appropriate guidance regarding eye care and healthy habits.

The doctors emphasized the importance of maintaining good eye hygiene, having adequate lighting while reading and studying, maintaining a proper distance from books and digital screens, and taking regular breaks from prolonged screen usage. The students were also made aware of the need to report symptoms such as blurred vision, eye strain, headaches, or difficulty in reading the board.

The camp was conducted smoothly with the cooperation of the school management, teachers, and medical team. The students actively participated in the check-up and benefited greatly from the professional guidance provided by the doctors. The initiative was a valuable step towards safeguarding the eye health of the students and creating greater awareness about the importance of regular eye examinations.
