INVESTITURE CEREMONY - 20th JUNE
2026 - St Anthony's Church
School
St. Anthony Church
School organized its Investiture Ceremony on
20th June 2026 with the aim of fostering
leadership qualities, responsibility,
discipline, and a sense of service among the
students through the student parliament. The
ceremony marked an important occasion as the
newly elected student leaders were formally
entrusted with their respective
responsibilities. The event was conducted in
a simple yet dignified manner, reflecting
the spirit of democratic leadership.
Various portfolios were assigned to the
elected student leaders, following a system
inspired by the functioning of the
Parliament, similar in nature to the Lok
Sabha and Rajya Sabha. The student ministers
and leaders were given specific
responsibilities to represent their fellow
students and contribute actively to the
smooth functioning of various school
activities. The elected leaders took the
oath of office, pledging to discharge their
duties sincerely, responsibly, and with
dedication. They were formally honoured and
invested with their respective
responsibilities, making the occasion a
memorable milestone in their school life.
The ceremony emphasized that leadership is
not merely a position of authority but a
commitment to serve, guide, and inspire
others. It encouraged the student leaders to
develop confidence, teamwork,
accountability, and decision-making skills.
The Investiture Ceremony thus served as a
meaningful platform for nurturing
responsible young leaders and instilling in
them the values of democracy, service, and
leadership.
