Sambrama Shanivara - High School
Section - St Anthony's Church
School
St. Anthony Church
School conducted Sambrama Shanivara for the
High School students as part of the Bagless
Day initiative observed on every third
Saturday, in accordance with the
instructions of the Education Department.
The day provided students with an
opportunity to step beyond their regular
academic routine and explore their
interests, creativity, skills, and hidden
talents through a variety of engaging
activities and competitions.
Several competitions were organized,
including Cooking Without Fire, Pick and
Speech, Clay Modelling, Smart Maths, Science
Trivia, Pebble Competition, Handwriting
Competition, and other skill-based
activities. Cooking Without Fire encouraged
creativity and practical skills, while Pick
and Speech helped students develop
confidence and communication abilities. Clay
Modelling brought out their imagination and
artistic talent. Smart Maths and Science
Trivia promoted logical thinking, quick
reasoning, and a spirit of healthy
competition. The Pebble Competition
encouraged creativity and skill, while the
Handwriting Competition focused on neatness
and presentation.
The activities proved to be fruitful,
enjoyable, and enriching for the students.
They enthusiastically participated in the
competitions and demonstrated talents that
may not always be visible through
conventional academic performance. Sambrama
Shanivara thus served as a meaningful
platform for the holistic development of
students, helping them discover themselves,
build confidence, and learn through joyful
and practical experiences.
