Sambhrama Shanivara - Talent Hunt
for Higher Primary Students - St Anthony's Church

St. Anthony s Church
School conducted a Talent Hunt for the
Higher Primary Section as part of Sambhrama
Shanivara, an initiative to be conducted on
the third Saturday of every month as per
government instructions. The programme
provided students with an opportunity to
explore and showcase their creativity,
communication skills, imagination, and other
talents beyond regular academics.
The following competitions were conducted:-| Poster Making Competition: Students
expressed their ideas and creativity through
attractive posters, developing their
artistic skills and awareness of various
themes.
-| Essay Writing Competition: Students
presented their thoughts and ideas through
well-structured essays, helping to improve
their writing skills, vocabulary, and
expression.
-| Clay Modelling Competition: Students
created different models using clay,
encouraging imagination, creativity,
patience, and fine motor skills.
-| Handwriting Competition: Students were
encouraged to maintain neat, clear, and
legible handwriting, promoting discipline
and attention to detail.
-| Speech Competition: Students spoke on
given topics, providing them with a platform
to develop confidence, communication skills,
and public-speaking abilities.
-| Reading Competition: Students
demonstrated their reading skills through
proper pronunciation, fluency, voice
modulation, and expression.
Overall, the Sambhrama Shanivara Talent Hunt
was a meaningful initiative that encouraged
students to discover their hidden talents
and participate actively in creative and
co-curricular activities. It also helped
foster confidence, enthusiasm, and holistic
development among the students.
